OVERVIEW
Microsoft Blend for Visual Studio was the first visual design development tool for building Microsoft web and desktop applications on the company's largest development tool platform. Blend was the first WYSIWYG front-end for designing XAML-based interfaces
I led UX for all product features, from creating workspaces for animations, multiple device platforms, application layout, 2D/3D widgets, components, and property editing.
One of the major challenges building the product was translating UX from a traditional "code centric" UI into something more intuitive for designers to create applications for the Windows platform.
